Godox Flash Triggers

Shop Godox wireless flash triggers in South Africa from CameraStuff, an officially authorised Godox distributor. TTL triggers like the XProII, X3Pro, X3 and X2T use Godox's 2.4G X wireless system to fire and control any Godox flash with a built-in X receiver, including the AD200Pro II, V1, V860III and TT685II, with TTL, HSS and group power adjusted from your camera position. The touchscreen X3 and X3Pro make changing groups quick, the X5 is the dedicated trigger for the iT32 mini flash, and the FC-16, XT16 and DM16 are simpler manual triggers at a lower price. TTL models come in dedicated versions for Canon, Nikon, Sony and Fujifilm. Shop online with nationwide delivery or test them in our Randburg showroom.

Flash Trigger FAQs

A wireless flash trigger consists of a transmitter mounted to your camera hot shoe that sends radio signals to fire off-camera speedlites and studio strobes from a distance:

  • Off-Camera Directional Control: Moving your flashes off-camera allows you to shape light, position softboxes, and create depth and dimension instead of shooting with flat direct on-camera flash.
  • Multi-Light Management: Allows you to trigger and control multiple flash units across separate channels and power groups (A, B, C, D, E) simultaneously directly from your shooting position.
  • Reliable Radio Range: Uses 2.4GHz radio frequency to trigger flashes through softboxes, around corners, and across distances up to 100 metres without requiring direct line-of-sight visual alignment.

TTL Wireless Triggers (XPro II, X3 Series, X5, X2): Communicate natively with your camera exposure system. They support automatic TTL flash metering, High-Speed Sync (HSS up to 1/8000s), remote flash power adjustments in 1/10th stop increments, modeling light control, and full wireless group management.

Manual Wireless Triggers (FC-16 & DM16): Simple, budget-friendly radio triggers designed purely to pass a flash sync signal to fire flashes remotely. They do not support TTL auto-exposure, High-Speed Sync, or remote power adjustments from the transmitter, requiring you to set flash power manually on the flash unit itself.

Touchscreen transmitters represent the next generation of Godox wireless flash control:

  • Intuitive Touch UI: High-definition full-colour touchscreens let you swipe and tap to switch groups, adjust power levels, and toggle modeling lamps without navigating complex physical menu trees.
  • Compact & Low-Profile: Designed with an ultra-compact footprint that sits flush on mirrorless camera hot shoes without making the setup top-heavy or cluttering your eye line.
  • Fast USB-C Charging: Built-in rechargeable lithium batteries charge from 0% to 100% in around 70 minutes via USB-C, eliminating the need to carry spare AA batteries for your transmitter.

Godox XPro II: Ideal for photographers who prefer a large angled display, dedicated physical group buttons, tactile adjustment dials, and Bluetooth smartphone app connectivity for studio control.

Godox X3 / X3 Pro: Ideal for creators wanting a futuristic, ultra-compact touchscreen interface, direct USB-C battery charging, and rapid touch navigation on lightweight mirrorless setups.

Godox X2 Series: Ideal for photographers who need a physical hot-shoe pass-through on top of the trigger to mount an additional speedlite or audio receiver directly on camera while firing remote flashes.
