All returns and warranty claims must be pre-approved. Please contact us before sending anything back.
How to Start a Warranty Claim
Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or 011 880 4155.
Include your order number, proof of purchase, and a short description of the issue.
Where relevant, we may also request photos or videos before advising on the next step.
Warranty assessments typically take 3-5 working days.

What is Local Warranty?
A local warranty means your product is repaired or replaced in South Africa. There is no need to send the item back to the manufacturer's country of origin. This allows for faster turnaround times, lower costs, and easier support. All work is handled through CameraStuff.
Valid Warranty Claims
Warranty cover applies to:
- Malfunctioning or non-functioning products
- Faulty components or assembly
- Defects affecting intended use
- Material or workmanship defects
- Design or engineering flaws
What is Not Covered by Warranty
Warranty does not cover:
- Accidental damage
- Improper use or misuse
- Normal wear and tear
- Power surges or use with non-recommended power devices
- Flash tubes and modelling lamps, which are treated as consumables
- Backdrop scuffing, marks, or wear from normal use
Note: LED modelling lamps may be considered where failure is due to a manufacturing fault.
Backdrops
Scuffing and marks from use are normal and are not covered under warranty.
If a backdrop is damaged in transit, this must be reported within 48 hours of receipt with photos. If the damage occurred in transit and was our fault, we will arrange a replacement or refund.

Returns & Refunds
We offer a 60-day money-back guarantee. If you are unhappy with your purchase, we can assist with a return, exchange, or refund, subject to the conditions below.
Refunds apply to the product only. Delivery charges are not refundable unless the return is due to our error.
All returned items must be securely packaged. Damage caused in transit due to poor packaging may affect the return outcome.

Incomplete Returns
Items returned with missing original packaging, missing accessories, or damaged packaging may incur a 35% restocking / administration fee to cover handling, repackaging, and replacement of missing components.
Examples include missing:
- Box
- Cables
- Straps
- Manuals
- Original inserts
- Damaged packaging
Assessment First
Where a physical return is required, all returned goods are assessed before a replacement, refund, or repair outcome is finalized.
CameraStuff may ask for photos, videos, or the return of the item before approving a refund, replacement, or warranty outcome. Depending on the nature of the issue, some matters may be resolved without requiring the product to be returned.
If It's Our Fault
If the item is faulty, damaged, incomplete, or incorrect due to an error on our side:
- Please contact us first and send photos or videos where relevant
- If the item needs to be physically assessed, we will arrange and cover return shipping, or you may bring it into our store
- Where a return is required, the item will be assessed before a replacement, refund, or repair is processed
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method
If It's Your Fault
If you ordered incorrectly, changed your mind, or no longer want the item:
- Return the item via courier or bring it into our store
- You are responsible for return shipping, although we can help arrange a courier
- The item will be assessed before a refund or exchange is processed
- Refunds exclude the original delivery charge
Return Frequency Policy
We monitor return patterns to ensure fairness and protect against abuse while still supporting genuine customer issues.
As a general rule, customers may be limited to 3 returns in a 12-month period. Additional returns may incur a 10% restocking fee or be reviewed individually.
Your 60-day guarantee still applies, but CameraStuff reserves the right to assess repeat return patterns on a case-by-case basis.
