How It Works
Getting started takes just a few minutes. Follow these steps to set up your affiliate account and start earning.
- Register for free to receive your unique affiliate code
- Log in to your affiliate portal and locate the Deeplink Generator
- Use the Deeplink Generator to create tracked URLs for any CameraStuff product or page
- Share your links through your content, social media, email, or YouTube
- Earn 10% commission (ex VAT) on every qualifying online purchase made through your links

Always use the Deeplink Generator in your affiliate portal when creating links. It automatically embeds your tracking code into any CameraStuff URL, so you never have to worry about your commissions being missed or attributed incorrectly. It takes seconds and works for any product or page on the site.
Promotion Tips
The most successful affiliates create genuine, useful content built around their own experience with photography and videography gear. Here are the approaches that work best.
- Write product reviews and hands-on tutorials featuring gear from CameraStuff
- Share your affiliate links across your social media platforms
- Email your audience with product recommendations — ensure you follow anti-spam laws
- Create YouTube videos featuring CameraStuff products and include links in your descriptions
Terms & Conditions
By joining the CameraStuff affiliate program, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully before registering.
Kindly note that this affiliate programme is limited to South African citizens only — who are resident in South Africa, with a South African bank account.
This agreement describes the terms and conditions for participation in the CameraStuff affiliate program. "Affiliate" refers to you or the company you lawfully represent. "CameraStuff" refers to CameraStuff (Pty) Ltd. This Agreement applies to everyone who signs up for the affiliate program.
1. Registration and Participation
- Register to receive your unique affiliate code
- Use this code in your URLs or via the Deeplink Generator
- Affiliates are subject to approval upon registration. You may be asked how you intend to promote CameraStuff
- CameraStuff may, at any time during the affiliate relationship, request that an Affiliate explain or justify their promotional strategies, content, or channels. Affiliates agree to respond to such requests in good faith
- CameraStuff reserves the right to approve or decline any affiliate application at its discretion
- All applicants are vetted internally as part of the registration process. Sign-up is not automatic or guaranteed on submission of an application; it is only confirmed once this internal review is complete
- CameraStuff may reject any applicant, or decline to confirm any registration, at its sole discretion, and is not obliged to provide a reason for doing so. Unsuitable applicants include, but are not limited to, those whose content or platforms promote sexually explicit materials; promote violence; promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age; or promote illegal activities
- This program is primarily intended for affiliates whose content or audience relates to photography, videography, or related creative fields. CameraStuff may consider applicants outside these areas at its discretion
- Approval as an Affiliate at any point, including past approval, does not guarantee continued or future participation in the program. CameraStuff may, at its sole discretion and at any time, readjust the terms of an Affiliate's participation, amend arrangements specific to that Affiliate, or cancel an Affiliate's participation entirely, regardless of any prior approval
- CameraStuff may admit other Affiliates into the program on terms that differ from this Agreement. Different Affiliates may be subject to different arrangements at CameraStuff's discretion
- Affiliate programs may run from time to time; all are based on once-off payments — no recurring payments apply
- CameraStuff makes no representation or guarantee as to how much, if anything, an Affiliate may earn through the program. Actual earnings depend entirely on factors outside CameraStuff's control, including the Affiliate's own traffic, content, and audience
2. Promotion Guidelines
- All promotion must comply with anti-spam laws. Unsolicited bulk email (spam) mentioning or referencing CameraStuff is not permitted
- Affiliates must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and requirements of any governmental authority that has jurisdiction over them, at all times while participating in the program
- All models featured in promotional content must be 18 years or older
- Affiliates may not include "CameraStuff," or any variation, misspelling, or confusingly similar term, in their own domain name, page titles, meta tags, or other HTML/SEO elements, and may not bid on "CameraStuff" or related trademarks (or misspellings thereof) in Google Ads or any other paid search or PPC platform
- All collaborators must be aware of, and agree to, these terms, and must disclose that commission may be earned. Affiliate relationships must be clearly disclosed to your audience
- The Affiliate will never imply that they are employed by or acting on behalf of CameraStuff
- The Affiliate agrees not to bid for advertisements that compete with CameraStuff on any online, digital, or physical marketing/advertising platform, channel, or publication, unless this has been specifically vetted and approved by CameraStuff in advance
- The Affiliate will never represent themselves, CameraStuff, or their relationship with CameraStuff in a false, misleading, or negative way
- Affiliates are permitted to use CameraStuff brand and marketing resources supplied for this purpose. Logos and other assets cannot be modified without written permission. The Affiliate gains no trademark, copyright, or other rights to these materials
3. Earning Commissions
- Online purchases only — in-store sales do not qualify
- 10% commission on the ex-VAT value of each qualifying sale
- Last-click attribution applies: the most recent affiliate link clicked before purchase earns the commission. There are no shared or recurring commissions
- Affiliates do not earn commissions on purchases made for or by themselves
- A click-through must be legitimate, non-repetitive, and generated by a genuine customer. Automated or manually generated "false" click-throughs will not be honoured
- Properly coded links are the sole responsibility of the Affiliate. Commissions can be viewed on the Affiliate Dashboard
4. Tracking, Payments, and Refunds
- Tracking is handled via cookie and IP tracking, with a 60-day tracking window from the date of the affiliate link click
- Commissions are paid monthly once your balance reaches a minimum of R500. Balances under R500 roll over to the following month
- Payments are processed free of charge into a South African bank account. Payment will be made on sales older than 60 days, to allow for CameraStuff's 60-day money-back guarantee program
- If a customer is refunded for a transaction on which the Affiliate earned commission, that commission will be deducted, at CameraStuff's discretion, from the Affiliate's balance
- The Affiliate is solely responsible for declaring and paying any tax owed on commissions earned through this program. CameraStuff does not withhold tax on Affiliate payments and accepts no liability for an Affiliate's tax obligations
5. Behaviour and Compliance
- Ethical conduct is required at all times
- CameraStuff may remove affiliates who do not meet conduct standards, or who are inactive and no longer sending traffic to the CameraStuff website, at its discretion
- Fraud, manipulation, and artificially generated clicks or sales are strictly prohibited
- Examples of conduct that may result in removal from the program include, but are not limited to:
- Promoting CameraStuff alongside content that is sexually explicit, adult, or otherwise inconsistent with CameraStuff's brand positioning
- Making false, exaggerated, or misleading claims about CameraStuff products, pricing, or promotions
- Generating or attempting to generate fraudulent clicks, sales, or commissions
- Engaging in conduct that could reasonably bring CameraStuff's name or reputation into disrepute
6. Termination
- Either party may terminate this agreement immediately, in writing (including by email), without prior notice
- CameraStuff may also terminate this agreement, pause, or deactivate an Affiliate's code and access at its sole discretion, with or without written notice to the Affiliate
- If the Affiliate terminates the agreement, no further commissions will accrue on any customer transactions from the date of termination onward. Any balance already earned prior to termination will still be paid out in the next scheduled payout cycle
- If CameraStuff terminates the agreement, all outstanding monies owed will be paid to the Affiliate in the next scheduled payout cycle following termination
- Termination of an Affiliate's agreement for failing to accept updated terms and conditions within the required period (see Modification, Section 10) is treated as a termination by CameraStuff for the purposes of this section, and the Affiliate's earned balance will be paid out accordingly
- Affiliate codes are paused or terminated upon exit. Termination is final
- All CameraStuff mentions and affiliate links must be removed from the Affiliate's content following termination
7. Confidentiality
- A non-disclosure obligation applies during and after the affiliate relationship. Affiliates agree not to disclose confidential information relating to CameraStuff, this agreement, commission structures, communications between the parties, or the circumstances of termination, to any third party
- This obligation survives termination of the agreement indefinitely
8. Liability and Indemnification
- CameraStuff accepts no liability for any loss, damage, or claim arising from the Affiliate's own content, conduct, or promotional activities
- The Affiliate agrees to indemnify and hold CameraStuff harmless against any claims, losses, or damages arising from the Affiliate's breach of this Agreement, or from any false, misleading, or unlawful content or representations made by the Affiliate in connection with the program
- CameraStuff is not responsible for, and will not reimburse, any costs or expenses incurred by the Affiliate in producing content, running advertising, or otherwise seeking to generate sales through the program. All such costs are borne solely by the Affiliate
- CameraStuff makes no express or implied warranties or representations regarding the affiliate program or the Affiliate Dashboard/tracking platform, including no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. CameraStuff will not be liable for the consequences of any interruptions or errors in the program or platform
- CameraStuff's total liability to an Affiliate arising out of or relating to this Agreement or the affiliate program, however caused, will not exceed the total commissions paid to that Affiliate in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. CameraStuff will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including lost profits or loss of business opportunity, even if advised of the possibility of such damages
9. Data Protection
- CameraStuff collects and processes Affiliate personal information (including banking details) solely for the purposes of administering the affiliate program and making payments, in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA)
- CameraStuff will take reasonable steps to keep Affiliate personal information secure and will not share it with third parties except where required to process payments or comply with the law
10. Modification
- CameraStuff may modify any of the terms and conditions within this Agreement at any time, without prior notice, and at its sole discretion, including changes to commissions, commission schedules, payment procedures, and Affiliate Program rules
- Continued participation in the program after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms
- Where CameraStuff requires Affiliates to accept updated terms and conditions, Affiliates will be prompted to do so upon their next login to the Affiliate Panel
- Failure to accept the updated terms within 7 days of first being shown this prompt will result in termination of the affiliate agreement
11. Governing Law and Arbitration
- This Agreement is governed by the laws of South Africa
- All claims and disputes arising under or relating to this Agreement are to be settled by binding arbitration
- The Affiliate may not assign, transfer, or hand off this Agreement, their affiliate account, or their affiliate code to any other person or entity without CameraStuff's prior written consent
- CameraStuff's failure to enforce strict performance of any provision of this Agreement will not constitute a waiver of its right to enforce that provision, or any other provision, at a later time
By joining the CameraStuff affiliate program, you agree to these terms.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is it free to join the CameraStuff affiliate program?
Yes. Registration is completely free. Applications are reviewed internally, and CameraStuff may decline or discontinue an affiliation at its discretion.
How much commission do I earn?
You earn 10% commission on the ex-VAT value of every qualifying online purchase made through your affiliate links. Only online orders count — in-store purchases do not qualify.
How long does affiliate tracking last?
Your affiliate tracking window is 60 days. If someone clicks your link and completes a purchase within 60 days, you earn the commission. CameraStuff uses cookie and IP tracking to attribute sales accurately.
When do I get paid?
Commissions are paid monthly. You need a minimum balance of R500 before a payout is processed. If your balance is under R500, it rolls over to the following month and accumulates until the threshold is reached.
What is last-click attribution?
Last-click attribution means the affiliate whose link was clicked most recently before a purchase gets the commission. If a customer clicks multiple affiliate links before buying, only the last click earns the commission.
What kind of affiliates is this program for?
The program is primarily intended for affiliates whose content or audience relates to photography, videography, or related creative fields, though CameraStuff may consider other applicants at its discretion.
