The Rode VideoMicro II is an ultra-compact on-camera shotgun microphone that improves the audio from your camera or smartphone, with no batteries and nothing to switch.
It is a true supercardioid shotgun microphone with Rode's annular line tube technology, delivering natural, full-bodied sound from a very small body. The supercardioid pattern is highly directional, picking up what is in front while reducing background noise from the sides and rear. The in-house HELIX isolation mount protects against knocks, bumps, and handling noise, staying low-profile with cable management, a camera attachment, and a boompole thread. At 80mm long and 24g, with a rugged all-metal body, it fits any camera bag, and it includes both foam and furry windshields plus cables for cameras and smartphones.
