The Rode RODECaster Duo is a compact integrated audio production studio that records, mixes, and processes your whole podcast or stream from one desktop console, with two Revolution Preamps, onboard APHEX processing, and dual USB-C.
Two Neutrik combo XLR and 1/4-inch inputs run on ultra-low-noise, high-gain Revolution Preamps (-131.5dBV EIN, 76dB gain) that drive dynamic and condenser microphones, instruments, and line-level sources without a separate booster. Seven assignable channels are mixed across four 100mm physical faders and three virtual faders, driven by a quad-core audio engine, and each channel has APHEX processing including the Aural Exciter, Big Bottom, and Compellor, plus a compressor, noise gate, high-pass filter, de-esser, and three-band EQ. Six programmable SMART pads with bank switching trigger sounds, effects, MIDI, and mixer actions, and a built-in wireless receiver connects up to two Rode Series IV transmitters. Dual USB-C interfaces record to two computers or mobile devices, with Bluetooth and a 3.5mm TRRS headset input, and you can record multitrack or stereo to a microSD card, USB storage, or a computer at 24-bit/48kHz. A 5.5-inch high-definition touchscreen with haptic feedback and a rotary encoder, plus two headphone outputs and balanced 1/4-inch line outputs, round it out.
