The Rode PSA1+ is a silent studio boom arm that positions a microphone, even a heavy broadcast mic, precisely over your desk, with 940mm of horizontal reach and smooth 360-degree rotation.
This two-section arm moves silently through a full 360 degrees and reaches 940mm horizontally and 860mm vertically, so you can place the mic exactly where you want it with minimal effort. It supports microphones up to 1.2kg, so even large broadcast mics are no problem, and mounts to a desk with either the supplied C-clamp or the threaded desk insert. A 3/8-inch thread with an included 3/8-inch to 5/8-inch adapter fits most mics, clips, and mounts, and integrated cable management keeps a USB or XLR cable tidy.
A boom that squeaks as you move it, or sags under a heavy mic, ruins a take, and a loose cable run makes a mess of the shot. The PSA1+ moves silently, holds heavy mics steady, and routes the cable out of sight.
