Product Description
The Rode NTH-100 are over-ear monitoring headphones with custom-matched 40mm dynamic drivers, built for accurate critical listening and comfort through long creative sessions.
The drivers use a custom voice coil with a four-layer aluminium alloy core, an ultra-stiff triple-layer Mylar diaphragm, a neodymium magnet, and a phase plug derived from the NTG5 microphone, for an accurate frequency and phase response with very low distortion across the audible spectrum. Contoured circumaural earcups with memory foam cushions give passive noise isolation of -20dBA, and Alcantara cushions on the earcups and headband sit over a layer of CoolTech gel that absorbs and dissipates heat to reduce wearing fatigue over long sessions. A fully adjustable headband with the FitLok locking system holds the fit, the removable cable has a locking connector that attaches to either earcup, and the cushions and cable are user-replaceable. They can also be turned into a headset with the Rode NTH-Mic.
