The Newell D-Tap Power Adapter for LP-E6 is a dummy battery that powers Canon cameras from an external V-mount battery via D-Tap, for long recording sessions without swapping batteries.
It sits in the battery compartment in place of a traditional LP-E6 cell and draws power from a V-lock (V-mount) battery through its D-Tap socket.
