Product Description

This nine-piece step-up ring set is an essential addition to any photographer's kit. Designed to adapt and expand the functionality of your existing lenses, these rings allow you to attach larger filters and accessories to lenses with smaller filter threads. Say goodbye to the hassle of buying a new filter for every single lens in your collection.

This set is perfect for photographers and videographers who use multiple lenses with different filter sizes but want to use the same set of filters, lens hoods, or other accessories. Whether you shoot with Canon, Nikon, Sigma, or Tamron, these rings offer a practical, money-saving solution to an all-too-common problem.

The main problem this set solves is the need for redundant equipment. Instead of purchasing the same type of filter in various sizes to fit different lenses, you can simply use these adapter rings to make your larger filters compatible with your smaller lenses. This not only saves you money but also reduces the weight and bulk of your camera bag, giving you more space for other gear.

The rings work by creating a secure bridge between your lens and your chosen accessory. Each ring screws onto the front of your lens, converting its filter thread size to a larger one. For example, if you have a 58mm lens and a 62mm filter, you can use the 58-62mm step-up ring to attach the filter seamlessly. This allows you to standardise your gear and use your favourite filters across a range of lenses, ensuring consistent creative results without the extra cost.

Common Dos and Don'ts

Check the diameter symbol (⌀) on your lens to find the correct size before you start. It's usually found on the lens barrel or under the lens cap.

Store these rings in a pouch or small container to prevent them from getting scratched or dusty.

Carry the set with you in your camera bag so you always have the right adapter when you need it.

Don't force a ring onto a lens or filter. If it feels tight, you likely have the wrong size, and forcing it could damage your gear.

Don't leave a step-up ring attached to your lens when you're not using a filter, as it can be difficult to remove later.

Don't forget that step-up rings can only convert a smaller lens size to a larger filter size, not the other way around.
