Struggling to match lighting in mixed environments or create a specific mood can be frustrating. With its adjustable colour temperature and RGB modes, the LP400R lets you tailor the light to any scene, from warm tungsten to cool daylight or vibrant hues. Choose from 14 built-in effects, like candle flicker or police car flash, to add creative flair to your work. The high CRI and TLCI ratings of 96 ensure accurate, lifelike colours, while the four-way barndoors allow you to shape the light precisely. Control is simple with the onboard display or the Godox Light app via Bluetooth, and the option for NP-F battery power adds portability for outdoor shoots. Choosing between the LP400R and LP400Bi depends on whether you require full colour customization or standard white light:
- Godox LP400R (RGB-WW): Features full-spectrum 360-degree RGB colour tuning, an ultra-wide CCT range from 1800K to 10,000K, HSI and GEL modes, and 14 animated FX lighting effects. It is ideal for creative background washes, stylized music videos, and cinematic scenes.
- Godox LP400Bi (Bi-Colour): Focuses strictly on adjustable white light from warm tungsten (2800K) to cool daylight (6500K) without RGB colour modes.
- Recommendation: Choose the LP400R if you want creative colour freedom alongside high-quality white light key lighting, or the LP400Bi if you only need standard daylight and tungsten lighting for traditional video interviews.
Yes, the Godox LP400R offers dual power options for both indoor studio work and remote location shoots:
- Battery Power (Sold Separately): The rear of the panel features two built-in Sony L-series (NP-F) battery plates. You can power the panel wirelessly using two optional NP-F rechargeable lithium batteries (such as NP-F550, NP-F750, or NP-F970 models). Note that two batteries must be installed simultaneously to operate the light wirelessly.
- AC Mains Power (Included): Comes complete with a universal AC power adapter and cable to plug directly into standard wall sockets for unlimited, continuous indoor studio power.
Selecting the right Godox LED panel depends on your required light output, battery ecosystem, and production scale:
- Litemons LP400R (36W): Ultra-compact 36W entry panel powered by two Sony NP-F batteries or AC power. Perfect for desktop setups, solo creators, and portable accent or rim lighting.
- Litemons LP600R (60W): Mid-tier 60W Litemons panel providing increased brightness while retaining NP-F battery portability for small interviews and multi-panel kits.
- Litemons LP1200R (120W): High-output 120W Litemons studio panel with a larger surface area and an integrated V-Mount battery plate, making it an excellent primary key light for full studio productions.
