Godox CS-50T Slim Lantern Softbox with Bowens Mount
Certified Importer & Seller Of Godox In South Africa
Product Description
The Godox CS-50T is a slim, collapsible 50cm lantern softbox with a Bowens mount, giving a soft, even 270 degree spread of light for live streaming, vlogging, and interviews in small studios and home setups.
Where a traditional softbox focuses light in one direction, this lantern-style modifier spreads it across 270 degrees, filling a room with a natural, ambient glow. Its slim profile is built for tight spaces: a 50cm diameter and shallow 33.5cm open depth let you position it close to a ceiling or in a corner without creeping into the frame. The white translucent fabric produces a flattering, wrap-around light that softens skin tones and reduces harsh shadows on a subject's face.
Ideal for: live streamers, vloggers, interviewers, and solo shooters who need to light a subject and their surroundings from a single source in a small or home-based studio.
In smaller rooms, lighting can feel directional and artificial. The CS-50T mimics the effect of a large overhead lamp, bathing the set in soft, uniform light that feels organic. Its collapsible quick-open design deploys and packs away in seconds, which suits solo shooters moving between setups without a crew. The universal Bowens S mount fits a wide range of studio strobes and continuous LED video lights, and the lantern accepts an optional skirt (sold separately) to flag off spill and direct the beam. Heat-resistant fabric keeps performance consistent during long continuous-light sessions.
