The amaran Ray 660c is a 660W full-colour RGB COB LED monolight with a Bowens mount, amaran's highest-output COB, delivering up to around 37,900 lux at 1 metre bare (or 90,400 lux with the included reflector), with a 1800 to 20,000K range, OmniColor accuracy, and IP54 protection.

Whether lighting subjects or filling expansive studios, this streamlined all-in-one monolight combines high output with OmniColor technology and modern control. A wide CCT and full RGB control suit film, broadcast, and video production, and the IP54-rated body is built to withstand demanding environments. A convenient yoke and Bowens mount add flexibility, and the integrated power supply keeps the setup clutter-free.

Bare, it delivers up to around 37,900 lux at 1 metre through a 70° beam, rising to 90,400 lux with the included reflector at a 45° beam, with 45,904 lumens on tap. The colour temperature runs 2300 to 10,000K, extendable to 1800 to 20,000K in CCT+ mode, with green to magenta shift and 0 to 100% stepless dimming. Colour accuracy ratings of CRI 95, TLCI 95, SSI 80/87, and TM-30 94/100 keep skin tones and colours true on camera, and 360° HSI and RGB control plus 12 FX effects (fireworks, faulty bulb, lightning, TV, pulsing, strobe, explosion, fire, paparazzi, welding, cop car, and party) cover creative work.

Control is handled through an intuitive TFT menu and a FlowTurn knob for tactile adjustments, plus one-tap NFC pairing to the amaran app with Bluetooth over an 80 metre range. Quick Operation, High-Speed Photography, and Studio modes with custom shortcuts speed up common tasks, and an optional USB-C to 5-pin DMX in and out adapter integrates the light into industry-standard consoles for cues and repeatable scenes. The integrated power supply runs from a single 5m AC cable with no external brick. An IP54 rating adds dust and splash resistance, and active cooling stays quiet at 28 dBA at maximum output with silent and smart fan modes. The full-size metal Bowens mount fits the included reflector, an optional dedicated Fresnel, and other modifiers, and a manually-operated yoke with a dual junior/baby pin receiver and built-in safety chain bracket handles mounting and precise rotation.
