The amaran Halo 600x is a 610W bi-colour COB LED monolight with a Bowens mount, delivering up to 32,500 lux at 1 metre with CRI 96 accuracy for larger studios, live streams, and production sets.

This all-in-one monolight provides high output in a fraction of the size of a traditional 600W COB, projecting through a wide native 85° beam angle for uniform, diffused light without hotspots. Like the Halo 300x, it offers a 2700 to 6500K variable range and high colour accuracy for flattering warm and cool light, with the power supply integrated into the compact all-metal body so a single included AC cable is all you need.

Big COB lights usually mean bulky separate ballasts and cable runs. The Halo 600x integrates the power supply into the fixture, so you set up faster with no external power accessories, just one 5m AC cable. It delivers 32,500 lux at 1 metre at 5600K with extra headroom and a wide beam for even output, a 2700 to 6500K range for tungsten or daylight, and stepless 0 to 100% dimming. Colour accuracy ratings of CRI 96, TLCI 97, SSI 84/74, and TM-30 95/102 keep skin tones and colours true on camera.

Adjust it onboard via a TFT screen with separate brightness and colour temperature knobs, or wirelessly up to 80 metres through the amaran app with one-tap NFC pairing that works even before the light is switched on. Advanced users can add a separately available USB-C to 5-pin DMX in and out adapter for wired DMX control in industry-standard consoles for cues, multi-light looks, and repeatable scenes. Active cooling stays quiet at 28 dBA in smart mode, with silent, smart, and high fan modes, and nine effects include paparazzi, fireworks, lightning, faulty bulb, TV, pulsing, strobe, explosion, and fire. The reinforced full-size metal Bowens mount fits optional reflectors, Fresnels, and other modifiers, and an integrated tilting bracket with a built-in carry grip makes for easy handling and quick mounting.
