The amaran Halo 200x is a 200W bi-colour COB LED monolight with a Bowens mount, delivering up to 10,530 lux at 1 metre with CRI 96 accuracy for home studios, live streams, and compact sets.

This all-metal, all-in-one fixture provides bright output from a point-source COB in a space-saving body, projecting through a wide native 85° beam angle for uniform, diffused light without hotspots. It is brighter than the previous amaran 200x S, and like the Halo 100x it offers a 2700 to 6500K variable range and high colour accuracy for flattering warm and cool light, with the power supply integrated into the fixture so a single included AC cable is all you need.

Ideal for: content creators, vloggers, and videographers lighting home studios, live-stream rooms, and small to medium sets who want studio-quality light in a compact fixture.

Larger COB lights usually come with bulky external power bricks and cable clutter. The Halo 200x integrates the power supply into the head, so you set up faster with just one 5m AC cable. It delivers 10,530 lux at 1 metre at 5600K with a wide beam for even output, a 2700 to 6500K range for tungsten or daylight, and stepless 0 to 100% dimming. Colour accuracy ratings of CRI 96, TLCI 97, SSI 84/74, and TM-30 94/102 keep skin tones and colours true on camera.

Adjust it onboard via a TFT screen with separate brightness and colour temperature knobs, or wirelessly up to 80 metres through the amaran app with one-tap NFC pairing that works even before the light is switched on. Advanced users can add a separately available USB-C to 5-pin DMX in and out adapter for wired DMX control in industry-standard consoles for cues, multi-light looks, and repeatable scenes. Active cooling stays quiet at 28 dBA in smart mode, with silent, smart, and high fan modes, and nine effects include paparazzi, fireworks, lightning, faulty bulb, TV, pulsing, strobe, explosion, and fire. The reinforced full-size metal Bowens mount fits an optional reflector, Fresnel, Spotlight SE, and other modifiers, and an integrated tilting bracket with a built-in carry grip makes for easy handling and quick mounting.
