The amaran Halo 100x is a compact 100W bi-colour COB LED monolight delivering up to 4,890 lux at 1 metre with CRI 96 colour accuracy and a Bowens mount.
Built for everyday creators working in tight spaces, it brings higher output, flexible power, and intuitive control to a remarkably small body. This point-source COB is brighter than the previous amaran 100x S in roughly one-third of the size, projecting through a wide native 85° beam angle.
Ideal for: content creators, vloggers, and streamers, plus compact studios, run-and-gun location shoots, interviews, and noise-sensitive sets that need accurate colour.
Fitting a genuinely bright light into a small space usually means sacrificing colour accuracy or quiet running. The Halo 100x avoids that with CRI 96, TLCI 97, and TM-30 94/102 ratings that keep skin tones and product colours true, a 2,700K to 6,500K range covering warm to daylight scenes, and 0 to 100% stepless dimming. Dual power lets you run it from an AC adapter or USB-C PD, and the full-size metal Bowens mount accepts the full range of modifiers. Control it from the onboard TFT screen, the amaran app with one-tap NFC pairing, or over DMX via USB-C with an optional adapter, while the active fan stays quiet at 28 dBA in smart mode. Nine built-in effects round out the creative options.
