Meet Anna Smith
"I am a dance photographer based in Cape Town. I specialise in aerial dance photography which includes dance forms such as pole fitness, aerial hoop, and silks. My journey began about 10 years ago when a dance studio instructor suggested I shoot their annual photoshoot, which sparked my love for dance photography and I've been doing it ever since. I'm enthralled by capturing the elegance of dancers through my lens. I enjoy constantly pushing creative boundaries and trying out new innovative techniques. Alongside my studio work, I take immense pride in serving as the official photographer for our esteemed national pole and aerial championships, a crucial qualifier for the prestigious international world championships. I also shoot various aerial competitions and dance shows across the country."
Introducing Heni Fourie
"I'm Heni Fourie, and I've been capturing moments behind the lens for over 15 years, while working full-time as Director of Marketing and Sales. In 2020, I finally took the leap and opened my very own studio, specializing in newborn photography. Since then, I've had the privilege of photographing over 350 newborns, each one holding a special place in my heart. Along the way, I've been fortunate enough to receive recognition for my work, earning awards like the Baby Art Photographer of the Year 2022 and Studio of the Year 2021. But the most rewarding part is capturing those tender moments and creating timeless memories for families like yours."
