- Please select "Collection" from the delivery methods when prompted.
- If somebody else is collecting on your behalf, please give the person collecting your order number as a reference.
Courier Door-to-Door
- We use a variety of couriers for door-to-door shipments.
- These deliveries are sent out from our Johannesburg branch on weekdays only.
- Depending on the size of your parcel, the courier covering your area and your location, these parcels may take between 2 and 4 days to arrive.
- Small parcels of less than 2kg typically move by air, if there is an SAA-serviced airport near you. Parcels larger than this move by road, and take a day or so longer to get there.
- If you live in an outer-lying area allow a bit longer - some of these areas are only covered once a week.
- Parcels are delivered to the provided physical street address during business hours.
- A tracking number is provided and sent to you via e-mail.
- We get courier collections every afternoon. If your order is confirmed and paid for by midday, it will be shipped the same day. Otherwise, it will go out the following day.
- We insure our parcels and accept responsibility until they are signed for by you.
- The estimated delivery lead-times are purely a guideline. In most instances, deliveries happen within these periods, but we can't guarantee these times due to factors outside our control, including delays from our delivery partners.
- Claims for damaged or missing products will be accepted within 3 days of buying or receiving the goods.

We offer free delivery on orders over a specified value unless otherwise stated. These parcels are sent using the method at our discretion. If you want a specific shipping method, please select it during the checkout process (at your cost).

Guidelines for Clients Purchasing from Outside South Africa
At CameraStuff, we accept cross-border purchases; however, we are not equipped to handle the complexities and logistics that come with international transactions. As such, the following guidelines apply to ensure a clear understanding of our policies. For those outside South Africa, in-store purchases are encouraged, even though they may be somewhat inconvenient, as they simplify the process.
Shipping Restrictions
- We do not ship to addresses outside of South Africa.
- We do not ship to border posts.
- CameraStuff does not get involved in any cross-border shipping paperwork.
Returns and Warranty
Handling return shipments for warranty claims or refunds from outside South Africa can be challenging, and we do not assist with these processes.
There may be tax and VAT implications when shipping goods back across borders, and we do not get involved in these matters.
Note: If a customer from another country buys from CameraStuff but encounters an issue with the product once back home, the sale is treated as an in-store purchase. It is the customer's responsibility to return the product to us for any resolution, including repairs or exchanges.
VAT and Invoicing
- We do not issue VAT-free invoices.
- We do not assist with claiming VAT back at border posts.
- Our invoices are SARS compliant, include VAT, and show our exporter's code. However, they may be considered non-standard and could lead to queries at the border.
Payment Methods
Credit card payments are preferred for faster and easier processing.
As of September 2024, direct electronic payments from South African banks with branches in Eswatini, Lesotho, and Namibia are no longer permitted. A SWIFT payment is required instead.
For clients in other countries who cannot pay by card, a SWIFT payment must be arranged.
We accept SWIFT payments only for purchases over R5,000.
With SWIFT payments, please allow 2-3 days for payment processing before we can proceed with your order.
SWIFT Payment Conditions
- When making a SWIFT payment, ensure that the OUR payment option is selected. If the SHA or BEN options are used, the payment will be refused.
- This means all fees are to be covered by the purchaser, not by CameraStuff.
Order Collection
For orders marked for collection, we will notify you when your order is ready. Please do not send anyone to collect prior to receiving this notification, as your order may not yet be prepared.
System and Communication Limitations
In some instances, our systems are limited to South African addresses, and selecting a different country may be problematic during checkout.
We are unable to make outgoing calls to numbers outside of South Africa. Therefore, email and incoming WhatsApp communications are preferable for any customer service or order-related queries.
Language of Communication
Although some of our digital systems may facilitate conversation translation, please note that our primary language of communication is English. The bulk of our communications, as well as all official documents and invoices, will be in English.
While we strive to accommodate international customers, these guidelines are necessary to manage the process effectively. For a more seamless experience, in-store purchases remain the most straightforward option.
