Delivery Costs & Policies
Whether you're collecting your order in person or having it couriered to your doorstep, we've got all the info below to make the process clear and easy. If anything's still unclear, drop us a line - we're always happy to help.
Delivery Costs
- JHB and Pretoria (within 30km radius of CBD): R80.00
- Major City with SAA airport (within 30km radius of CBD): R120.00
- Outlying Areas: R240.00
- Collection at Randburg Branch: No charge
In-store Collection
- If you'd like to collect your order(s) at CameraStuff's walk-in shop, please notify us beforehand as to when you'd like to collect it.
- Please select "Collection" from the delivery methods when prompted.
- If somebody else is collecting on your behalf, please give the person collecting your order number as a reference.
Courier Door-to-Door
- We use a variety of couriers for door-to-door shipments.
- These deliveries are sent out from our Johannesburg branch on weekdays only.
- Depending on parcel size, location and courier, delivery typically takes 2-4 days.
- Small parcels may ship by air; larger ones go by road.
- Outer-lying areas may take longer (some are only covered weekly).
- Delivered to your provided street address during business hours.
- Tracking number sent via email.
- If paid before midday, it ships the same day; otherwise, the next day.
- Insured until signed for.
- Delivery estimates are guidelines; actual times may vary.
- Claims for damage or missing goods accepted within 3 days.
Free Delivery
We offer free delivery on orders over a certain value. These are shipped using a courier of our choosing. If you'd like to use a specific method, please select it during checkout at your own cost.
Uber Collection
We allow Uber collections in-store. Let us know via WhatsApp or live chat when your driver is booked. Once the package is with the driver, we can't take further responsibility - but we'll do our best to ensure a smooth handover!
Uber Collection Terms and Conditions
- Allow 2 hours for preparation
- Cut-off: Weekdays at 3 PM
- No Uber collections on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays
- Let us know when Uber is booked
- Keep us updated on its status
- Client covers Uber fees
- No insurance on Uber handovers
- Make sure pick-up is set to: 473 Jan Smuts Ave, Blairgowrie
- Choose the right vehicle for your parcel size
Guidelines for Clients Purchasing from Outside South Africa
We welcome cross-border purchases, but we don't handle international shipping logistics. These transactions are treated as in-store purchases. It's simpler (and safer) to buy in person, if possible.
Shipping Restrictions
- We don't ship outside South Africa
- No shipping to border posts
- We don't get involved in international shipping paperwork
Returns and Warranty
- Customers outside SA must return goods themselves for repairs/refunds
- We don't handle cross-border returns or taxes
- Treated as in-store sales; responsibility lies with the customer
VAT and Invoicing
- We don't issue VAT-free invoices
- We don't help with border VAT refunds
- Invoices include VAT and exporter's code but may not be border-compliant
Payment Methods
- Credit card preferred
- No EFTs from SA-linked banks in Namibia, Lesotho or Eswatini - SWIFT only
- SWIFT accepted on orders over R5,000
- SWIFT payments take 2-3 days to reflect
SWIFT Payment Conditions
- Use "OUR" payment option - if not, we'll reject the payment
- All fees must be covered by the purchaser
Order Collection
We'll notify you when your order is ready. Please don't send someone to collect before then.
System and Communication Limitations
- Our systems only support South African addresses at checkout
- We can't call international phone numbers - please use WhatsApp or email
Language of Communication
Our communications, invoices and documents are all in English. Feel free to use translation tools, but we work primarily in English.
We'll always do our best to help, but the above policies help us manage things clearly and fairly for everyone.
